Bohemian Rhapsody, la película que relata la historia de Queen y de cómo Freddie Mercury se convirtió en una leyenda del rock, se ha convertido en el largometraje más taquillero de 2018 en España, recaudando más de 24 millones de euros (772 a nivel mundial).
Este biopic musical, no solo ha arrasado en taquilla, sino también en numerosos certámenes cinematográficos. Triunfó en los Globos de Oro, y también en los Oscars, donde obtuvo 4 premios:

Rami Malek, el actor estadounidense de origen egipcio, aparece en muchas películas, como Noche en el Museo o La Saga Crepúsculo. Sin embargo, no fue hasta obtener su papel protagonista en la serie Mr.Robot, que comenzó a ser más reconocido entre el público. De hecho, interpretando a este hacker, Malek obtuvo un Primetime Emmy a Mejor Actor.
Aunque su carrera iba bien, el casting de Bohemian Rhapsody lo catapultó al estrellato. En éste, el actor admitió no saber cantar, ni tocar el piano. Sin embargo, deseaba tanto interpretar a Freddie que aceptó el reto. Para prepararse, asistió a clases de canto y piano y a un entrenador personal, que le ayudó a conseguir los movimientos corporales de la estrella de rock.
